TRIO Priority Training Grants
College Bound Institute's Priority Trainings
The College Bound Institute has been granted two (2) Priority Training grants that will begin on October 1, 2024. Through these grants, CBI will provide training to over 500 TRIO personnel in the following areas:
- Priority #2: Training on budget management and the statutory and regulatory requirements for the operation of projects funded under the Federal TRIO Programs.
- Priority #5: Training on strategies for recruiting and serving hard-to-reach populations, including students who are limited English proficient, students from groups that are traditionally underrepresented in postsecondary education, students with disabilities, students who are homeless children and youths (as this term is defined in section 725 of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 11434a)), students who are foster care youth, or other disconnected students.
These dynamic trainings will be held through face-to-face conferences, asynchronous online modules, synchronous online platforms, and hybrid formats. We look forward to working with our TRIO personnel community to provide quality training throughout the United States.
